 I am Dr. Derek Bell, founder and principal chiropractor of Affordable Chiropractic Life Centers, with offices in Derby and South Dayton. 

A lifelong resident of Buffalo, I love everything about the area – especially the people.  That’s why after receiving my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta Georgia, I decided to locate my practice here.

As an avid sports fan and someone who continues to play and coach organized sports, I have always been devoted to fitness and a healthy lifestyle.  I am passionate about helping my patient’s live healthier lives through the many benefits of chiropractic care.  In fact, I have been under regular chiropractic care since the age of 10!

I currently reside in Lake View, NY with my wife Jenn, who is a physical education teacher at West Seneca West High School and our Labradoodle Kramer (seen pictured here).

   
Once upon a time, Karen actually looked forward to turning a year older [ahh…those were the days!]. She grew up on a raspberry farm [yum!], where she kept busy picking berries, riding her bike or playing in the creek. She has since traded in the raspberry picking duties and splashing in the creek, for motherhood – with 3 kids and a husband that keep her hopping.
When Patty got her first kitten as a child, she was hooked. The SPCA became her favorite place to visit [yes, it beat out shopping malls]. As an adult, she now has her own zoo to keep her busy - 2 dogs, 3 cats, 4 rabbits, 4 children and 1 husband [and no – the kids and husband aren’t part of the zoo, they just add to the entertainment!].
   
Jennifer grew up in a great neighborhood where everyone knew each other. As kids, they had the run of the neighborhood, staying out playing until the street lights came on. It inspired a love of being active that she and her husband now instill in their three children [and the family guinea pig!]. It keeps their days fun and their lives happy.
Delana grew up in the country with plenty of animals and family around, inspiring her to get married and have a son [enhancing the overall family total] and start up a small beef farm. Her beef passion entertains and educates Dr. Derek about the ‘tales of a beef cow’ [but she has yet to convince him to start a mini-beef farm of his own]. She has worked in the South Dayton office for 6 years – enjoying a nice balance between city-time in the office and country-time ‘out on the farm’.
