During pregnancy, many changes occur to create a nurturing environment for the developing baby – like your growing belly and increased back curve, pelvic changes and postural adaptations.  Any of these can result in a misaligned spine or joint. We’ll be with you through the entire 9 months.  Care can continue right up until you deliver.

3 Pregnancy Milestones

1. Posture Changes - We watch for postural changes, as your ‘center of gravity’ shifts. 

2. Weight Gain - We keep a keen eye on the scale.  As the baby grows, the extra weight puts increased pressure on the spine and pelvis. 

3. “The Waddle” - We’ll watch as you walk.  Toward the end of the pregnancy, there’s a change in the gait pattern.  This can create new and different pressure points. 

What we can't see… the millions of different hormonal changes and chemical reactions occurring both in the mother and the developing baby--all of which are controlled and coordinated through the nervous system.  This is why regular adjustments are so vital. 

Remember, regular chiropractic care throughout your pregnancy can result in an easier pregnancy, with decreased labor time, and a quicker return to your pre-partum health!
